In the investigation organised on the death of Ahmet Atakan, who died after he was shot in the head with a tear gas shell by the police during the Gezi Park protests in Antakya district of Hatay, the objection made against the verdict of “non-prosecution” was denied as well. The application made at Adana Regional Administrative Court with the claim for an investigation and a public lawsuit to be opened against the suspects was denied and the file will be carried to the Constitutional Court.
