The lawsuit filed against seven people, who were charged with “acting against the Governorate ban” due to the press statement made in Adana for dismissed academic Günal Kurşun, was concluded with acquittal. Lawyers Tugay Bek, Ali Akıncı, Ümit Büyükdağ, Semih Gökayaz, Mustafa Çinkılıç, union member Mehmet Çelik and dismissed academic Kurşun were acquitted of charges related to the press statement made in front of Adana Courthouse before the hearing of Asst. Prof. Günal Kurşun, who faced a lawsuit after being dismissed with a Statutory Decree.
