The Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office detained 16 people as part of its investigation into allegations of irregularities and bribery at Şile Municipality. The prosecutor’s office issued the new detention orders on the basis of statements given under the effective remorse provision. The investigation is ongoing.
