Police detained İlhami Şengül and Ramazan Soy in house raids carried out on the morning of 20 October in the Güneştepe neighborhood of Bursa’s Osmangazi district. Proceedings were initiated against the two on a charge of “providing financing to an organization.” Şengül and Soy were expected to be transferred to Ankara as part of an Ankara-based investigation subject to a confidentiality order.
