Detention orders were issued for 35 people, including Mayor Fevzi Topuz and his son Doruk Topuz, in an investigation in Muğla into allegations of bribery and bid rigging at Milas Municipality. Police detained 29 people in simultaneous operations carried out in 13 provinces centered on Muğla. The operation came one day after 44 people, including Mayor Emrah Kozay, were detained at Çukurova Municipality in Adana.
