A court ruled that Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, who was standing trial in detention as part of an investigation into Nilüfer Municipality, would remain in custody. Twenty people in the same case, including former Nilüfer Mayor Turgay Erdem, also remained in detention. The court ordered the release of 16 defendants. The trial was adjourned until 5 October 2026.
