A prosecutor sought the conviction of journalist Berivan Kutlu in a trial on a charge of “making propaganda for an organization.” The indictment cited Kutlu’s television appearances and X posts after the February 6 earthquakes as evidence. The Diyarbakır 4th High Criminal Court granted time to prepare the defense and adjourned the hearing until December 1.
