Trendyol shut down the store through which Diyarbakır-based Pirtûkakurdî sold Kurdish-language books without providing a reason. Store owner Bawer Berşev argued that the decision was not caused by a technical problem but formed part of systematic obstruction targeting Kurdish publications. Publishers said a significant share of Kurdish book sales took place online and that the closure made it harder for readers to access books.
