The İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office detained 17-year-old E.A. as part of an investigation launched on allegations that the minor carried a poster of Selahattin Demirtaş and possessed a flag of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq. The prosecutor’s office requested E.A.’s arrest on charges of “making propaganda for an organization.” The criminal peace judgeship released E.A. under judicial supervision.
