A lawsuit has been filed against Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu for “abuse of office” on the grounds that he used a vehicle belonging to his own company as an official vehicle during his tenure as Mayor of Beylikdüzü. The indictment prepared by the Büyükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office sought prison sentences ranging from 6 months to 2 years for İmamoğlu and 11 other individuals. The indictment was accepted by the court.
