An investigation was launched after a photograph taken during a visit by Serdar Aslan, Chairman of the Justice Commission in Kırklareli, to Bilal Kuşoğlu, Secretary General of the Provincial Special Administration, was leaked to the press. As part of this investigation, T.C.Ö., an employee of the Provincial Special Administration, was arrested. The prosecutor’s office stated that the photograph was taken without permission and that system records were deleted. T.C.Ö.’s computer and digital materials were seized. The suspect was sent to prison on charges of “system obstruction” and “unlawful acquisition of personal data.”
