Two people, who were taken into custody during two separate operations organized in Hatay last week, were arrested due to ‘making terrorist organization propaganda’ with their social media posts.
İskenderun District Security Directorate Anti-Terror Command took A.A. into custody and the citizen was later charged with ‘making PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG propaganda.’ Following a house search at Dörtyol district, A.A. was transferred to the Criminal Judicature of Peace and was arrested on June 14th. Another person, who allegedly “made PKK/YPG terrorist organization propaganda” on the social media was arrested in İskenderun on June 12th.
