Journalist Sultan Eylem Keleş was detained while covering the protest of Bimeks workers in front of Boğaziçi University.
She was sentenced to 8 months and 10 days in prison for “resisting to prevent the execution of her duty”.
The court acquitted her on the charge of “insulting a public officer”.
The announcement of the verdict on the sentence was deferred.
