Mezopotamya Agency reporter Zeynep Durgut was threatened for her news report on the “Prostitution Gang” in Şırnak, which was revealed to have been established in 2013. The family of Kenan Tatar, who was named as the “gang leader” in the news report, called Durgut on the phone and threatened her saying “You will pay for this”. The journalist is preparing to file a criminal complaint. DFG and MKG issued statements in support of Zeynep Durgut and condemned the threats against her for her professional activities.
