Istanbul Anatolian 37th Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced right defendants, including Gazete Fersude’s editorial committee member journalist Ercan Ayrancı, to five months of imprisonment each in the lawsuit filed on the protest demonstration organized to support the hunger strike of academic Nuriye Gülmen and educator Semih Özakça, who were previously dismissed from work with an emergency decree. The court deferred the announcement of the verdict and issued the acquittal of five defendants.
