Ankara Security Directorate made a statement after the visuals of a female university student being exposed to sexual harassment while being taken to the police vehicle after being detained during a protest in Ankara on February 16 were reflected into press. The Security Directorate targeted M.D., who was detained and was sexually harassed by the police. “She participated in terrorist organization demonstrations together with her sibling, her father is a FETÖ member,” the directorate said. The young woman reacted against the statement and said, “As the incident reflected onto press and drew reactions, the Directorate tries to terrorize the situation and try to give responsibility away.”
