Lawyer Ahmed Buğra Çelik made a criminal complaint against the police officers, who beat the lawyer as he was getting out of his car after parking in front of his house in Antalya. The lawyer stated, “I can not make any sense of this resentment, hatred and anger. I don’t understand how they find such an authority as well…” Ankara Bar Association Chairman Atty. Erinç Sağkan indicated that the police officers have told Çelik during the attack, “Where is your law practice now?” “This incident is an indicator that certain public officers posing danger against public health through denying their reason of professional existence were equipped with the authority to carry arms,” Sağkan stated.
