The lawsuit filed against 33 women, who were detained in the protest organised by the Ankara Women’s Platform on August 12, 2020 against the Presidential decree to withdraw from the Istanbul Convention, concluded with acquittal of the charge of “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911” at the Ankara 28th Criminal Court of First Instance.
