In the Mazıdağı district of Mardin, artist Şeyhmus Temel and his 15-year-old daughter were summoned for questioning on the grounds that they had performed Kurdish songs at the Newroz event on March 18. Temel and his daughter gave their statements at the police station on June 15. After the questioning, both were released.
