An investigation was launched against Sezin Uçar, candidate for the bar association from the Libertarian Democrat Lawyers Group, Fırat Epözdemir, a candidate for the board of directors, and Seher Eriş, a member of the Istanbul Board of Directors of the Contemporary Lawyers Association (ÇHD), due to commemorating their colleague Ebru Timtik with the speeches they gave at the General Council of Istanbul Bar Association last year. Timtik had lost her life during the death fast that she started with the demand for a fair trial, which continued for 238 days.
