Halk TV’s X account with three million followers was made unavailable in Türkiye by the platform on 21 October. Access to the account had been blocked on 14 October under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651. During the process, the channel changed the account’s username from @halktvcomtr to @halktveu. X implemented the access block despite the username change.
