Kurdish writers and Kurdish publishing houses were not included in the Local Book Fair to be held in Van between June 12-14. It was revealed that the names of Kurdish writers on the lists were removed and local publishing houses were not sent invitations. The event, organized by the governorship and the municipality under the trustee administration, was criticized on social media as “cultural exclusion” and “literary censorship”. Many reaction messages were shared with the hashtag “#KurdishWritersNotSaying”. No official announcement from the organization yet.
