The final hearing of the lawsuit filed against Diyarbakır Kocaköy District Co-Mayor Rojda Nazlıer, who was arrested after having been dismissed and been replaced with a trustee, was held at Diyarbakır 11th Assize Court due to “illegal organisation membership.” Nazlıer was sentenced to 9 years of imprisonment within the file against her, where the criminal evidence were secret witness statements, People’s Democratic Party’s (HDP) election campaigns and the organisation of Newroz celebrations.
