The Prosecutor’s Office presented its opinion on the basis in the prosecution of Can Dündar, whose file was separated from the main case file at Istanbul 14th Assize Court on the “news on the stopping of Turkish National Intelligence (MIT) Trucks.” The Prosecutor’s Office claimed for Dündar to be imprisoned for up to 35 years. The next hearing on the defenses will be held on December 4th. The court had confiscated all assets of Dündar a week before the hearing due to “considering him a fugitive due to not testifying.”
