The demonstration organised by women for November 25th was first banned by Beyoğlu District Governorate, then the women were permitted to march from the Tunnel until the Istanbul Bar Association building. However, the demonstration was intervened by the police with rubber bullets and tear gas. Istiklal Street was taken under police blockade before the march, the street was closed to entrances. Women marching from the Tunnel were stopped 140 meters away. After the statement made there, the police intervened the demonstration with rubber bullets and tear gas.
