The protest organized at Ali Şelli Park in Urfa for September 1st, World Peace Day, was attacked by the police. Five people were detained in the attack. All events organized for September 1st, World Peace Day, in Izmir by professional unions, political parties and non-governmental organizations were banned by the Governorate. Antalya Governorate banned all meetings and demonstrations to be held in the province for seven days.
