A lawsuit was filed against Halk TV Main News anchor Ece Üner due to “publicly insulting the judicial organs of the state” and “attempting to influence the fair trial”. The lawsuit filed by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office demands a prison sentence of up to 2 years for Üner. Üner will stand trial at Istanbul 19th Criminal Court of First Instance.
