Artist Ferhat Tunç was detained at Istanbul Atatürk Airport while travelling back from Germany within an investigation in Diyarbakır. The artist testified within two separate investigations opened in Diyarbakır. The artist was released after legal procedures at the courthouse.
In one of the investigations, Tunç is charged with “making illegal organization propaganda” due to his speech during the press statement held by intellectuals on the destruction in Sur. Regarding the second investigation file, the artist was asked whether he’s attended meetings of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK).
