10 people, protesting the Ankara Train Station Massacre with 103 life losses in Bursa were convicted due to “insulting the President.” Mudanya 1st Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced nine protesters to imprisonment varying between 1 year and five months and 1 year and nine months due to their chant, “Murderer Erdoğan” during the demonstration. The court also sentenced People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Mudanya District Co-Chair Mediha Azra Güllüpınar to 2 years, 2 months and seven days of imprisonment, effective immediately.
