At the 15th hearing of the case regarding the 2015 killing of 12-year-old Nihat Kazanhan in the Cizre district of Şırnak, it was announced that M.N.G., a special operations police officer wanted via an Interpol Red Notice, had been identified as being abroad. At the hearing held at the Cizre 1st High Criminal Court, the Kazanhan family demanded the defendant’s arrest and detention. The court postponed the hearing until June 13 to address deficiencies in the case file.
