SPEAKUP Platform (Platform Against Censorship and Self-Censorship) launched the Censorship and Self-Censorship in Turkey Report for December 2017 – December 2018.
The report involves documents on incidents of censorship and self-censorship during a year that passed mostly under the conditions of the State of Emergency and the rest with the “ordinarized State of Emergency” through the enacted Law No. 7145 following the revocation of the State of Emergency. Evaluations and results on the Censorship and Self-Censorship Research conducted by the platform also take place under the subsections Theater, Cinema, Media, Social Media, Broadcasting, Visual Arts, Music and Law.
