The protest organized by Bimeks workers, who were fired without receiving their total salaries and compensation, in order to protest their boss, Vedat Akgiray, as he was lecturing at Boğaziçi Üniversity, was intervened by the police. Approximately 20 people were detained, including 10 Bimeks workers.
