Students protested the panel titled “Homosexual Orientation” organized by the Young Thinkers Club at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Political Sciences. When students from the Student Collectives and the University Women’s Collective attempted to enter the hall where the event was being held, private security guards attacked them. The university students threw purple paint and eggs at the hall entrance to expose the event. Security guards tried to remove the students from the campus during the intervention, which spilled outside the faculty.
