Four journalists who wanted to cover a traffic accident in Efeler district of Aydın were beaten by relatives of the victims. The car driven by F.A. overturned in Kalfaköy neighborhood and the injured F.A. was taken to hospital. Journalists Abdurrahman Fırat, Uğur Eser, Aziz Özden and Yusuf Konrat were attacked while covering the incident and filed a complaint.
