Ministry of the Interior announced investigations started against 306 people within the last week (June 4-14) due to their social media posts. These investigations were opened following the examinations on 624 social media accounts, with charges of ‘making illegal organization propaganda,’ ‘insulting government authorities,’ ‘inciting people towards resentment, hatred and hostility’ and ‘intending against the indivisible integrity of state.’
