The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has reacted to social media posts claiming that people who testified as part of effective remorse in the investigations against IBB gave statements under pressure and threats. The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that such allegations would be considered as an attempt to influence the investigation process and that an investigation would be initiated ex officio against those who made such statements.
