A lawsuit was filed against a social meda user, who shared a photo of Mahir Çayan, a youth leader from the 1968 youth generation. In the indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, it was considered a crime for the citizen N.A. to have shared photos of Mahir Çayan on social media and a penalty was claimed against the user with the allegation of “making terrorist organisation propaganda.”
