Access was blocked to at least 31 X accounts, including those of journalists Birsen Altuntaş and Erk Acarer. The Freedom of Expression Association said the decisions issued on 26 October were based on Article 8/A of Law No. 5651. X had not yet implemented the access-blocking decisions and had not made the accounts unavailable in Türkiye.
