A warrant of detainment was issued against public workers protesting on Yüksel Street in Ankara after being dismissed from their public duty with emergency decrees within the investigation conducted by Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, with the allegation of ‘illegal organization membership.’ Here are the names detained: Selvi Polat, Deniz Aydın, Murat Çeşme, Gülnaz Bozkurt, Nazan Bozkurt, Mahmut Konuk, Simge Aksan, Özge Çırpan, Mehmet Dersulu, Ertuğrul Çağan, Sibel Balaç, Acun Karadağ, İlker Işık and Alev Şahin.
Operations were conducted against People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Provincial buildings in Diyarbakır, Batman and Van. Women on hunger strikes to support the protest started by Arrested HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven were also detained.
