Cem Tekinoğlu, an adviser to YENİ Parti Istanbul MP Cemal Enginyurt, was detained as part of a prostitution and money laundering investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. Police searched Tekinoğlu’s home. Ali Çimen, the lawyer for Gülistan Doku’s family, said the detention order was not issued as part of the Doku case but was connected to an investigation into financial and prostitution-related offenses.
