Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office prepared an indictment on the Kobani protests organised on October 6-8, 2014. 108 people, including Selahattin Demirtaş, take place in the indictment as “suspects.” The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has recently issued the immediate release of Selahattin Demirtaş. The indictment was prepared with the charges of “disrupting the unity and the territorial integrity of the state,” “homicide,” “homicide attempt,” “burning flag” and “violating the Law on the Protection of Atatürk.” It was sent to Ankara 22nd Assize Court.
