Serhat T., 25, was detained in Izmir on charges of “inciting people to hatred and hostility” due to a post he made on social media.
Izmir Security Directorate Anti-Terrorism and Intelligence branches determined that Serhat T. shared content containing derogatory expressions against Turkish mythology and symbols.
Serhat T., who was detained in an operation organized yesterday at the detected address, is being processed at the Anti-Terror Branch Directorate.
