Flu TV founder İlker Canikligil has announced that they will end political broadcasts on the channel after his release following a month and a half in pre-trial detention. Canikligil said, “Because we lost our tail, especially because I lost my tail, as Flu TV we have decided to end all our political content. We will not talk about anything related to domestic politics.” From now on, he said, only intellectual content will be produced. Canikligil was arrested on March 26 on charges of “public incitement to commit a crime” and “public incitement to hatred and hostility” and released on May 7 on judicial control conditions.
