IHD Istanbul Branch called for the release of seriously ill journalist Perihan Sevda Erkılınç who is being held in Bakırköy Women’s Closed Prison. Erkılınç, who suffers from celiac disease, chronic asthma and eczema, is in deteriorating health condition and her demands for gluten-free diet, treatment and hospitalization are not met. IHD called for participation in the press statement to be organized as part of the 694th F Sit-in: “Release Erkılınç, protect his right to life.”
