The SOL Party’s Malatya Provincial Organization sought to organize a march to the Kürecik Radar Base in the Akçadağ district of Malatya on March 16. Party members gathered in the Kürecik neighborhood to protest U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran. The gendarmerie set up a barricade on the road leading to the base, citing the area’s status as a military zone, and blocked the march. SOL Party members held a press conference in front of the barricade and chanted various slogans. Party Spokesperson Önder İşleyen announced that they would continue their actions against the NATO and U.S. military presence in Turkey.
