Access to content published by dokuz8HABER and certain media outlets reporting on CHP Chairman Özgür Özel’s statements regarding Mücahit Ören, whose name was mentioned in the Epstein documents, during a group meeting in Kahramanmaraş has been blocked. The Information and Communication Technologies Authority notified the relevant posts in accordance with Article 8/A of Law No. 5651. The X platform informed dokuz8HABER in an email that it had acted in accordance with the decision of the Istanbul 8th Criminal Court of Peace dated February 9, 2026, and numbered 2026/901. The decision was based on the grounds of protecting national security and public order. T24’s report on the matter was removed from publication; Halk TV, BirGün, and ABC Gazetesi also removed similar content from their websites.
