The editors of the Active News Agency (ETHA), Nadiye Gürbüz and Pınar Gayıp, and reporter Müslüm Koyun, who were detained in an operation based in Istanbul, were arrested after their court proceedings. In the operation targeting the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP), 56 of the 96 people detained on February 3 were transferred to Istanbul Çağlayan Courthouse. The prosecutor’s office requested the arrest of 56 people based on the case file without taking their statements. The Criminal Court of Peace decided to arrest 47 people, including ESP Co-Chair Murat Çepni, and release 9 people under judicial control. ETHA reporter Züleyha Müldür was released under judicial control, while Müslüm Koyun was arrested and sent to prison.
