Thirty more of the 96 people detained in operations carried out in 22 cities on February 3 targeting the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) have been arrested. Of the 40 people referred to the Criminal Court of Peace at the Istanbul Çağlayan Courthouse at the request of the prosecutor’s office, 24 were arrested and 16 were released under judicial supervision. Six people whose statements were taken via SEGBIS in Malatya and Antep were also arrested. This brings the number of those arrested in the operation to 77. Among those arrested were ESP Co-Chair Murat Çepni, journalists Züleyha Müldür, Pınar Gayıp, and Müslüm Koyun.
