Traffic police officer Onur Şener, who works in Eskişehir, faces a prison sentence of between one and three years in an investigation launched on the grounds that he criticized the “Terror-Free Turkey” process while on duty. A disciplinary investigation was also conducted against Şener on charges of “criticizing state policy” and “insulting the President.” Şener denied allegations that he deliberately obstructed tram service, stating that he had not acted intentionally.
