Two people in Elazığ and one in Viranşehir district of Urfa were arrested due to their social media posts. The arrested citizens were charged with ‘making illegal organization propaganda.’ Four people, who were taken into custody in Urfa during the operations organized due to the same charge, as well as two people in Elazığ were released with judicial control. It was further revealed that six people in Izmir were taken into custody due to insulting the President with their social media posts and were later arrested by the court they were transferred to.
